BSD Topics: 1) The prohibition of selling an Eved to an idol worshiper. Even in the past, when people would own Canaanite slaves, it was forbidden to sell them to idol worshippers, in order to avoid bad influence from the idol worshiper towards the Canaanite slave. If one sold his slave to a idol worshiper, he was obligated to redeem the slave (even for a very large amount of money) and the slave would go completely free.
2) Marriage through a loan. If a man lent money to a woman and instead of claiming back the money he tells her: “You are mekudeshes to me with the money that you don’t have to return to me”. Does that work?
