• The boys of the Shul (aged 7-12) are invited to a 5 part series of Shiurim on the Laws of Beis Knesses. The Shiurim are on Shabbos afternoon in the Shul from 14:45-15:15. (Avos Ubanim starts at 15:20). At the end of the five weeks there will be a quiz for the boys of all the participating Shuls with the winners receiving great prizes!! (Bicycle, guitar, skateboard, books, etc.)
• The girls’ Ateres Shabbos group continues this Friday night at the Seltzer home 36/2 Nachal Lachish. Girls ages 8 to 12 are invited to come after candle lighting, until the end of Maariv.
• The Rav’s Shovevim Shiurim on Taharas Hamishpacha for men are being held on Tuesday nights from 8:15. Take advantage of this time of year and refresh your Halacha L’Maaseh knowledge.
• The Shul’s annual Melava Malka is getting closer. It will IY”H be held in only 2 weeks on Motzai Shabbos Parshas Mishpatim, Feb. 9, 2013. Ad blanks for the Journal are available in Shul and online from Download Ad blank Shekel. Please submit your ads as soon as possible, so the journal can be prepared. Deadline for ads is Jan. 31 at noon! Also – please make your reservations to ensure your place at this auspicious occasion.
