BSD On rentals and leap years. A person rented a property for one year, and later on Beis Din decided to extend that year by adding one month to it (a second Adar). If the rental agreement was annual and not per month (rental is defined as 120K per year and not 10K per month) then that month was included in the global unit called “a year”. But what happens if the landlord mentioned BOTH annual and monthly agreements, in a way that’s contradictory? Do we follow his first or second statement?
