BSD In this video…
1) Oops… He converted! What happens when a person becomes Jewish in the middle of a loan process? I.e. he lent or borrowed money to/from a Jew for interest (which is ok, since he isn’t Jewish), but before then loan was fully paid he converted. Can he now pay/ charge the interest that was created in his “previous life”?
2) Can chazal (the sages of the Talmud) allow people to break Torah prohibitions? (you’re in for a surprise…)
3) If a Jew lent money with ribbis (interest) he is not allowed to charge the interest. Surely he can charge the principal…Or is that so?
