BSD “The more the better”… or is it so? A man was about to marry a woman with a silver coin but then gave her – surprisingly – a gold one. Does Halacha assume that she is happy with the upgrade (and the kiddushin apply), or do we rule that she’d want him to stick to his original words come what may (and the kiddushin are off)?
